Skill Store 33

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about Skill Store 33. For anything not covered here, email support@readyai.ai.

What is an agent skill?

A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file: written instructions an AI agent loads to carry out a specific task, such as setting up a CI pipeline or reviewing a contract. The agent reads it when the task comes up and follows it.

Is Skill Store 33 free?

Yes. Browsing, downloading skills and using the MCP server cost nothing, and accounts are free.

Do I need an account?

No. You can browse, download and connect the MCP server without one. A free account gives you an API key with a higher search limit.

What are the rate limits?

Only searches through the MCP server are limited: 5 a minute per address without an account, or 60 a minute with a key from a free account. Fetching a skill and reporting an outcome are not limited.

Which agents work with the store?

Skills are SKILL.md files, which Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other agents can load. Any agent that can connect to a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP can use the store's search.

How do I install a skill?

Download the SKILL.md from the skill's page and save it in your agent's skills folder, for example .claude/skills/<name>/SKILL.md in Claude Code. Our install guide covers Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.

How do I connect the MCP server?

The server is at https://mcp.ss33.ai. In Claude Code, run: claude mcp add --transport http skill-store https://mcp.ss33.ai. The MCP server page has the other agents and how to add a key.

Are skills safe to use?

Not automatically. Most skills are written by third parties, and a skill can tell your agent to run code, change files or send data elsewhere. Read a skill before your agent uses it, especially near production systems or sensitive data.

What do the verification states mean?

Verified means the skill's own tests ran in our sandbox and passed; more than 200 skills have passed so far. Safety scanned means it passed a safety scan, Tests failing means its tests ran and did not pass, and Not yet verified means we have listed it but not tested it yet.

What about licences?

Skills belong to their authors and are covered by the authors' own licences, which we show on the skill's page where we know them. When a licence doesn't allow us to redistribute a skill, the store links to the author's copy instead of serving the file.

Where do the skills come from?

Almost all are imported from public GitHub repositories, mainly through the skills.sh index. About a hundred come from vendor and community repositories we track directly, and 13 so far come from SN33, ReadyAI's subnet on the Bittensor network.

Can I publish my own skill?

There is no upload yet. Skills in public GitHub repositories listed on skills.sh can be picked up when we import; see For publishers. To correct or remove a listing of your skill, email support@readyai.ai.

How do I report a problem with a skill?

Email support@readyai.ai with the skill's page link and what is wrong. If your agent used the skill through the MCP server, it can also send report_skill_outcome with notes.

What do you do with my data?

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. Don't put personal or confidential information in searches: your agent decides what it sends, and requests are recorded.
